The photos are of a recent snow here in the South. I have used the snowflakes and tiny brads as Debbie described for us in the DD Blog post about using scatterings. This layout was made in Debbie Hodge’s Page Building Class @ Get it Scrapped. We learned about the Golden Ratio

Journaling: It all started on Friday . . . actually it started on Thursday with the weather forecasters talking about the terrible triple threat storm that was coming our way via Texas . . . through Arkansas marching eastward. We saw some snow Friday afternoon & by Saturday morning we were covered . . . then the freezing rain began . . . backed the snow down . . . coated the trees with ice . . . then more snow on top just to make sure that we noticed! Now I know that this is nothing north of the Mason-Dixon Line, but this is the South & we love to make a big deal when winter threatens us. We were to have 8 inches, so everyone in town ran to the grocery & got the fixin’s for chili, extra milk, bread & donuts . . . you would think that we were feeding a family of growing boys and not just the two of us! The best thing was the time outside with my camera . . the trees looked like crystal chandeliers and the sparkle was breath taking! Today we have lots of slush & sunshine & another beautiful day and, the roads are clear again!
