I have been thinking about my oldest dd and how we don't hold hands as much anymore. This was inspired by a Schindlers List movie poster.

Journaling:

How much longer?
“When the moment your little fingers grasped around my finger the bonds of mother and daughter connected. You fingers were so long and thin. They appeared fragile but deceived the eye with the power of your grip.
This, in the eleventh year of your life, one of my worries is that we won’t hold hands as often. That you’ll be embarrassed at the sight of your mom still expressing her love to you. That you are older now and can be independent. Even though are fingers will not always clasp as often. Through the hands of time our love for each other will be forever strong.”
