One of my absolute favorite places for architectural and interior design inspiration is Disney. The attention to detail, from exterior design to flooring to lighting and accents, is so amazing.

This is for Cathy's DYL class, a color challenge I just adored!

Thank you for looking.

Journaling: I admit it ... Walt Disney World is my favorite place on earth. Not, perhaps, for the reasons you might think. Yes, I love all the activities, the special time together with my family escaping from the everyday grind. But my artistís heart, my designerís soul loves WDW for the meticulous detail that goes into making it such a magical place. Every element of the architecture and interior design work harmoniously to transport you to another place and time. From the trendy colors and metal rails of a patio cafe to the upstate New York elegance of shake roofs, from reed roofs of Animal Kingdom Lodge to the showy flair of the Boardwalk to the pastel colors and palms of Old Key West, I can go anywhere in the World and feel right at home.
