Waikiki circa 1958
I remember this dancer so well, and I once knew her name, but that's long forgotten. When we lived in Waikiki I used to stroll down to the beach area daily and often took in the Kodak Hula show. Tahitian and Hawaiian ladies danced the hula to traditional Hawaiian music in Kapiolani Park. During the hour show, they stopped to teach us the steps and movements. Unfortunately several years ago, Kodak pulled out of sponsoring this show that had been a free tourist attraction since 1937.

I blended several of the papers in Photoshop and made brushes of the journaling. Font: 1942 Report
