So here is the fifth generation….in reverse!!
It was 1939 and my Mom had been living in Atlanta
on her own for a couple of years in school and working at a bank. Her Mother came up from
the country to visit and naturally they followed the family tradition of the portrait studio.
My grandmother, Love, lost her mother at age four and was raised by her sister.
She married her sister’s husband’s brother and he thought he was pretty lucky to have the
belle of the decade. Love raised seven children and lost four. She breed fancy fowl and developed
an international shipping system for her hybridized flower seeds. My Dad always
said she had a head for business. He met my Mom a year after this portrait was taken.
Michelle MArtin has new Just Linens No. 2 coming this weekend!! YAH!!
And Katie Has the new Taped Photos Masks No.1 which I used with embossing here. They are really cool.
Ok, maybe I went a little wacko with the embossing of everything but I like it. Thanks for looking at it.
