if i didn't have you
I know I am WAY late to the party for this challenge (#66 back on November 24), but I had this photo in mind and figured I might as well use the supplies to complete it. This layout started out completely different, but evolved into something else along the way; so apologies if it's not so easy to spot all the kits - it just seemed that less was more for this page.
I have oftentimes wondered Ė what would my life be like, if I didnít have you? I think of all the Thanksgivings weíve spent driving down unknown roads, bound for new experiences together: breaking fresh tracks in the snow in Tetteguche State Park, sitting miserably, quietly cursing the holiday traffic on the Massachusetts Turnpike, and looking for a turkey dinner (to no avail) in Conway, New Hampshire, only to end up dining-to-go at 7-Eleven (sharing Doritos and turkey sandwiches with each other and the dog). So what would my life be like, if I didnít have you? I canít really answer, except to say, Iím sure Iíd be missing out. Because although you sometimes prefer the unexpected road, I know my life is infinitely richer because I choose to travel those paths too. I think of this past Thanksgiving: gazing across the sandy marshes in Maryland together, there was a perfect stillness surrounding us as we walked along the boardwalks. We had the place to ourselves. It was bliss, and I am so thankful I could share it with you.
