Saturday Scraplift

I LOVED Ester's page and it was just the inspiration I needed. I've been wanting to scrap this topic for awhile but didn't quite know how to do it. Thanks for the inspiration Ester!

It all started this summer. One night when I went up to bed, I checked on you...just like I always do and I couldn’t find Mia. I looked under the bed, and in the closet (she sometimes sleeps in goofy places for her nap)...then I found her. She was embraced in Ellie’s arms in the top bunk fast asleep. The sight took my breath away. It was beyond precious. I stared at them for a few minutes and then went to bed. I layed in bed for a couple of minutes and decided that I wanted to see this again so I got up and went and stared at them for the longest time. Ever since that night, you guys have insisted on sleeping together. We have encouraged you not to because we believe you sleep better alone but you have been persistent in your efforts. I have to admit, it totally warms my heart that you guys want to always be together.

It is now December and you are continuing to spend your nights together in the top bunk. Let’s just say it is one FULL bunk. Upon doing inventory today, the list below consists of a few of the treasures that I found. It is certainly a full house and you are very animate about who needs to be in your bed with you each night. Your dad and I are usually frantically running around every night trying to find all the members of the ensemble.

May you always know the treasure you have in each other.
