When I saw Kim Watson’s page titled “Snow Fun” on page 23 of my January 2010 Creating Keepsakes magazine and Katie Pertiet’s beautiful “Let it Snow” Quote Challenge, I knew I had to scrap Saturday’s pictures of Kylie playing in the snow.

On Saturday, as we put up our Christmas tree, two inches of snow fell. Kylie kept running back and forth between the tree and the ornaments to the window so she could watch the snow fall. She was so excited about the snow. Once I had her bundled up and outside, she quickly became adept at making snowballs and throwing them at me. She really wanted to make a snowman but there wasn’t enough snow. So she settled for eating the snow, even when it had dirt on it. She ran away from me giggling every time I told her not to eat it. This early snowfall was a delightful beginning to our holiday season.
