My Dad Made Me Peaches

I woke my parents and told them. My dad got out of bed and we went to the kitchen. He got a jar of mom’s bottled peaches, put them in the blender and blended them. Then he made me toast. After I finished eating, I felt much better and went back to sleep. Blended peaches have always been a real treat to me and now my kids love them, too. I can’t ever drink a glass without thinking about that night, long ago, when my dad got himself out of bed, took a few minutes and made me feel better and in the process made a memory that has lasted a lifetime. Sometimes it's those small considerate gestures that remain as the sweetest of memories. Your page is beautiful - all the Paper/fabric squares look so good with the canned jars.
