journaling:
I was 18 months old when this photo was taken on Christmas morning 1941. I have memories of my pretty new robe with flowers on it and my stuffed fluffy white kitten. There was also a red Husky wagon with wood blocks, an elephant, a pull toy with four colorful wooden ducks and a wood cutout with a picture of me glued to it, that my Uncle Bud made for me. I loved the tree with the sparkling tinsle and pretty glass balls. a happy Christmas.

This is lovely! The papers and design are just perfect for the era! I had to smile at myself when I wanted to also see the pictures under the top one! I wish they would come back with the sparkly tinsel and metal icicles. I'm getting all nostalgic now!

Oh, don't you just love photos like this that make memories come to life so sharply? Smile Wonderful job of choosing just the right papers and elements to compliment the photo. And I do believe that it poked at the Christmas spirit that is attempting to bubble it's way into my brain! Smile
