Kansas City (1959) hadn’t seen this much snow since 1911! Growing up, we’d sled on the big, double hill in front of our house—over and over and over again! I’m on the back of the sled and my next youngest sister is in front—I could steer since my legs were longer! And how about my Mom’s sunglasses?!

On the back of these photos, my Mom had written, "The big snow...we were out every day of it." (above the red text).

My original/bottom layer was scanned right from my paper scrapbook version of this done about 10 years ago.
