Heritages pages are so beautiful, but it's so hard to make them. I spend three evenings creating this layout, but it was fun! The story: When I see this photo I get happy thoughts. It’s a picture of my grandparents, my mother, uncle and their little dog Pinkie in front of their house in Eindhoven. My mom is wearing her beautiful knitted red dress, which my grandpa loved. This was such a happy time. In 1962 my grandpa would pass away at the age of 48. My grandma had to raise six children on her own. My mom who was 13 and the eldest child helped her a lot. Not only did she loose her dearly beloved father, but also a piece of her childhood. I agree, heritage pages seem to take so much more thought-and work-but yours turned out to be an awesome page-love all the layers you put together!

These heritage papers are so wonderful and will be so treasured. I know that I loved to see old photos of my grandparents as a little girl and hear stories about them. Wonderful journaling and the elements are perfect!
