I'm a little late to the CZ party, but errands and computer issues got in the way of my play time. Hate it when that happens!


This is for Kelly -- Journaling: This is us -- right here, right now. One half of us is retired and loving it. The other half says he wants to work until he’s 66; he enjoys what he does, so why not? We’ve been empty nesters for over ten years, and we love that, too, even though we thoroughly enjoy getting together with family on Soul Food Sundays, at dinner out, and at the beach. We’re grandparents to two of the cutest munchkins on the planet. We love their sleepovers, but we also enjoy the quiet when they go back home to Mommy and Daddy. We like to read, watch British mysteries, and travel. And we both have our own interests, as well. He: the stock market, gardening, nutrition. She: digital scrapping and photography. Next year we’ll celebrate our fortieth wedding anniversary, and I can’t imagine a more wonderful life. Here and now is good. OCTOBER 2009
