I don’t know why it hit me so hard; deep down I knew you would do fine - after all, you already had a year of preschool under your belt. I guess it was just the idea that you are growing up so fast and that there are more official rules now that you’re in K. Ryan was excited to be part of your morning as well, and walked with us to Ms. Heinzte’s classroom #19. You took your seat next to the bittiest girl in class - she made you look like a giant! Also at your table was a very sweet boy who was sobbing his poor little heart out. I could tell he was making you a little unsure - heck, there must be something scary about K if HE was crying so hard, right? I did my best to reassure you as I unexpectedly had to choke back a sob myself. In the end, YOU were the one to reassure me that you would be fine. My heart broke just a little bit that morning, but I also was so proud of you. My brave sweet girl, I love you, my little kindergartener!

I can't believe it, either! Such a huge milestone in her young life. The photos are very sweet. The beautiful pages are a great memory keeper.

Very cute double pager. Seeing that picture of the tiny girl next to her reminds of the story you told about her first day. I bet she is loving it!!
