Journaling: More and more, I see my motherís hands when I look at my own. Clean but usually unmanicured, or at least unpolished. A wedding band and fairly short nails. A few wrinkes, a little dry sometimes, a handful of age spots where there used to be none. This always catches me a bit by surprise . . . how did my momís hands end up on the end of my arm? And yet my motherís hands seem never to get any older looking, while mine are quickly showing their years. It makes me wonder: Does mom see Grammaís hands when she looks at her own?
