One of my favorite books is "The Giving Tree" by Shel Silverstein. I cry everytime I read it.


These photo are of the same tree in different seasons, and were taken by my friend, Shannon. Shannon took these photos as a gift for another friend who adores this tree as it sits on the property her and her husband hope to build on some day. The summer picture has to be retaken as that tree was not visible through all the tall corn! Next time we'll take a ladder!
