Description}: This is for Anke�s Artsy Challenge � it�s the companion page to my 30 minute page I made earlier today - I played with it all afternoon� I used the 30 minute freebies and the other freebies from the quarterly challenges this weekend�. �The story�� and �artsy� � thanks a lot!!!! I added the following from my stash! On Sunday we all headed for Universal. The park was pretty empty when we got there and it stayed that way all day. This was pretty fantastic for us. We started out riding with Mickey and Stephanie�s favorite ride �Revenge of the Mummy� we got to ride it 3 times before the line got a little long. Then we headed to �Jaws� where we took time out for fun pictures. We snacked on pretzels and coke and kept on riding. We stopped and saw the �Beetle Juice� show and headed across the pumpkin trail to kiddie land. Universal does Halloween in style. We stopped and ate burgers and we earned $30 each doing a test pilot review for Howie Mandels �How We Do It Show� It was very funny ! He spoofs people and catches them doing the stupidest things. Description}: This is for Merrilees �heritage� challenge - the year was 1963. I was 3. This is how Mamaw tell�s the story � �I was cooking dinner and you fell off the bike � you were trying to ride a bike that was in the yard but you weren�t very big � we told those girls to lay the bkes down but they didn�t listen � Papaw told me to hurry and we headed to General Hospital(Ironton OH) to get it set �. You cried all the way � but there wasn�t a Dr to set the bone so we had to go to Huntington (WV) - the county fair was on � it was July and your Papaw got a speeding ticket on the way�. That policeman would not believe Papaw � he was looking for speeders � since you were now sleeping � it wasn�t an emergency� my Papaw thought it was� so Papaw got his only ticket ever �your Papaw was furious � later that week it was time to take my cousins back to South Carolina and have our summer vacation but I didn�t get to go �. Description}: Heidi is a twin of Linda�s favorite doll. She is a Heidi Ott doll. She came to me via Ebay - Linda had just got a triplet of her a few weeks earlier � all 3 dolls are just enough different that you can tell them apart�lol not really I can only tell who is who by what clothes they are wearing. She is wearing a handsmocked silk dress that was worn for the last time in this picture � a really big bug bombed it and no matter how hard I tried It would not come clean. The photo was taken at Cox with Linda she always arranges the dolls so perfectly. Heidi like her twins has expensive taste.... I ordered her new red shoes that same day. I can still smell the hyacinths and see the pink blooms. This picture was taken in 2006 I was working on my Spring time Doll album and when I saw Ali�s word art I instantly thought of this photo of Heidi in the tree. I used the freebie from Ali and Lynn�s new Walton Kit�. I�ll add the link after the sale/challenges shopping and scrapping are priority 1 this week�well kind of sort of�. I just got home from lunch and a few errands with Mamaw we picked up Honey baked ham and Cake for Mothers day after a trip to the Olive Garden�. We made it to the car dry but I got drenched running errands�. Mamaw thought it looked like the car wash�. It did lol�. Description}: In 2008 � I went and spent a week with my brother and his wife Stephanie � when the sale started today � I added to my stash and when I saw Carols �story� challenge � I thought this could do double duty�. I�m taking Jana�s designing doubles class and it starts next week�. Carol � Please only count one page for the challenge .....I really wanted you to see both! Friday � Mickey and I hit the park running. My favorite ride by far was the dueling dragons. The coaster goes really fast and turns you around until you face the other coaster in mid air. There was a short cut passage to ride it again and again and we did! Mickey and I arrived at the park as it opened. It was fun to have a few hours �alone� with my little brother. Stephanie met up with us as we were enjoying a snack and we rode rides and just enjoyed the day! the story Freebie - thanks it is wonderful! Description}: This is this years Easter for my project life album I do 4 pages a month 8 x 8... so I need big pictures... I used lw 299....and Katies pocket pages for the format.... I rearranged the lw299 a lot I'm not sure Kayleigh will even recognize it ... but I sure tried to make my version for 2 pages as good.... I really wanted the photo with my Mom and Jaden and my sister with Jaden... they were extra special moments.... the cutie in the red plaid shirt is my other great nephew Robbie.... I have a bunch more photos and every one has a different expression... the eggs got dumped as soon as he found a few.... then he picked them back up and off he went again.... Description}: This is what it looked like in my yard today - snow ...the trees are still covered ..and they still look like a picture postcard.... I shoveled myself out with the help of 2 neighbors.... my young neighbor shoveled out the back porch .... he was out there at about 6am this morning... My other neighbor did 3/4 of the drive with his plow.... I did the other 1/4 and my arms are tired.... I used Patty's template and I lifted me. February alpha Stamp Challenge

Description}: I went back to doing a page a day just like I did in 2011 � this year�s goal is better pages and it definitely includes lifts and adding more techniques to my knowledge base in my head and in my notes�. Description}: I was invited to bring 12 American Girl Dolls to the annual AG event � this years theme was a winter tea. I made matching name tags for each doll in her outfit . There were 120 daughters , mothers and grandmothers enjoying a fun day together. Many girls came in with a doll � some more than 1 all had huge smiles and happy faces! Description}: When I got up this morning � I was overwhelmed by all the fantastic pages for Katies Throwdown � it was almost 10 til 9 so not enough time to make a page � so I just checked out each page and soaked up inspiration. Mamaw and I stopped by and saw Mom on our way home from the bank� and she had some flowers on the table and I got out my camera�. Description}: I saw the challenge just a little bit ago and off I went to find pictures of the inauguration.... It may not be what they had in mind for the challenge.... but I couldn't help but think how cold it must have been in DC today for this historic event and I can still here Beyonce and Kelly Clarkson singing and oh the poem the poet read still sends chills. Description}: Wow.... done.... my idea not a lift using everything from the challenge plus more... I spent the morning with my Mom �her outlook is much better�. and then off to visit a friend. I gave Linda her pages I made during the Days of December and we stopped at this incredible smocking store � 3 people were taking a class � 2 were embroidering and were paper scrappers �. I saw light bulbs go off when they saw the digital pages the other was making a paper doll quilt square and it was fantastic�did I get out the camera � no �. Shame on me�.but I did do what I do best � I talked! when I got home I thought I�ll check out the 30 minute masterpiece and to my surprise I had not missed it�. I took pics of Maria thinking about todays lift� FYI Maria is an 18inch doll and I wanted to blend � this 1 stood out and then I just played fast and furious during the 30 minutes�. I did my own thing instead of lifting� I�ll still be scraplifting I can�t help myself �. But its time to try to use all the stuff I�ve learned and do something on my own� one of the new years resolutions �. Description}: Janas webinar from memory and my notes�. resolutions stink� I made a new years resolution that I can�t get the new stuff til the quartertly sale at DD it�s a self imposed resolution so the only one that will be affected if I break my own rule is me- its 1/16 and what does Jana do in the webinar she used new stuff that I waited to buy I so need a coupon for all the times I do this to myself but I wanted to play with what we learned in class via the webinar� so now I�m forced to use what I have and make it my own� I love using what Jana uses but alas I really must stick to my guns�.so I hope you appreciate my take for this weeks �begin� challenge page!!! I added stitching around the edges and made the rectangles and triangles I used the yester year kit because it looked similar to the kit I didn�t have and I changed the color of the photo corners to -180 Then I figured I could make the triangle bigger and attach paper since I didn�t have the fantastic xo ribbon I really liked Janas cluster and once again I needed that Sweet Rose bay kit You can darn bet that the first thing in my cart at the sale will be the Sweet Rose Bay Kit next year no new years resolutions for me they stink!!! Description}: Well today is week 2 for Jana�s class. So I happily played with a photo of me in the kitchen yesterday. Renee stopped by and we made caramel corn. Renee made it several times during the holidays and it was time for me to learn how to make it as opposed to Mamaw. Mamaws recipe was the size for an army �so we went on line and used Renee�s recipe� Mamaw laughed and said she never had to use the computer to cook� I really liked the air popper� the popcorn flew here and there but oh how easy� I may never microwave popcorn again�.we went to lunch while it cooled� Dodie my aunt stopped by just after we finished lunch and went home with half�. Mamaw�s been in the kitchen eating a little bit here and there and my container is looking a little slim�.
