Hello,
This week's Layout of the Week is actually not a Layout. When I saw this Project by Sarah Horton I wished that I was part of her Christmas Party and that I would get to play with this adorable Card Set she made. ![]() Mindy's Kit is just perfect and I love how Sarah displayed this Piece of Art. Here we go: How long have you been digital scrapbooking? What size do you scrapbook the most? What do you think your scrapping style is? How do you approach your hybrid projects (I always worry that I screw up when I start printing after paper scrapping or the other way around...) What motivated you to begin scrapbooking in the first place? How has your style changed from when you first began scrapping? Three all-time favorite designers? Three all time fave Designer Digitals products, links please. What camera do you use? What software do you use to scrap? What is your favorite color? Do you listen to a music when you scrap? What is your favorite snacks while scrapping? Who is your 3 digital scrapping buddy? Where would your dream vacation? What do you want to do right now? Thanks, Have a good week, everyone ![]() Dagmar

Thanks so much everyone! This totally made my day/week/year!
![]() I just arrived in Dallas for an all-day Photoshop workshop tomorrow .... worked on my answers on the way here, so here goes: How long have you been digital scrapbooking? I think about 4 years now... wow! Time flies! What size do you scrapbook the most? 12x12 (then I resize to 8x8 for my son's books) What do you think your scrapping style is? Hmmm... I have never really had a "style" - it's eclectic at best .. mostly I just like to have fun with it ![]() How do you approach your hybrid projects: I stay stocked up on lots of photo paper and ink so I can reprint if I find out I've made a mistake. (And it is a RULE that you will never SEE a mistake until you print it! LOL!) I love doing hybrid projects because I can personalize and customize them so much more easily. What motivated you to begin scrapbooking in the first place? I have always loved cutting-and-pasting and photos. I'm very sentimental and love preserving our family heritage photos. Knowing this, my mother sent me a brochure about scrapbooking in 1997. She thought it might interested me and boy! was she right?! How has your style changed from when you first began scrapping? Can you say decorative scissors and photos cut in circles? 'Nuff said ![]() Three all-time favorite designers? Seriously ... three? There are so many incredibly talented designers it's hard to narrow it down to only three. I really love all the designers at DD. I probably have the most kits from Katie Pertiet who never ceases to amaze me. Danelle Johnson because I have loved her work for so many years way back to my stamping days. I adore Pattie's felties and templates, Mindy's li'l friends and Kellie's template as well as Anna's plumes.... What camera do you use? Canon Digital Rebel which I preordered as soon as I heard it was coming out several years ago. What software do you use to scrap? Photoshop CS3 and occasionally PSE, FotoFusion What is your favorite color? Red Do you listen to a music when you scrap? Sometimes, but mostly I scrap when we are watching TV or movies. I can't stand to just sit there ... gotta be doing something, so I scrap ![]() What is your favorite snacks while scrapping? Diet Coke with Lime or Hot Chocolate Who is your 3 digital scrapping buddy? Leigh Brown, Angela Moffatt, Shirley Guzzi who I taught with when we worked for Epson (teaching digital scrapbooking for several years). They are amazing women who totally inspire me. We are lucky enough to still work together teaching/writing together and it's a total pleasure to have such good friends to work with. Where would your dream vacation? A month in Europe in the springtime with a full day (or five) at the Louvre. Three all time fave Designer Digitals products, links please. Katie's Blank Safety Tags Anna's Hipster Plumes No 5 My current obsession is Mindy's Jolly Li'l Friends kit What do you want to do right now? Jump up and down with excitement to be chosen this week! Thank you so much! What an honor! |
