    Help with actions

my actions have all gone haywire. All my favorite actions don't want to work anymore on CC PS6. I keep getting the message that the layer background (and all the layers after that..) is currently unavailable. What's up with that?? I have reinstalled, restarted, nothing works. Does anybody have any idea what's going on?

I'm not sure here Anke, I do unfortunately know some of my favourite actions didn't run well after I updated my PS. I had to go get some new ones perhaps they way they work is now different?

I found out that it's the crop tool. As long as you don't crop before editing, all is well. Weird!

I had to reload my favourite actions (ditched the rest) into my new photoshop on the creative cloud.

For example some of my actions were made for CS2 to CS??? Like wise I imagine PS. You know how sometimes when you buy actions they indicate what range they are suitable for. Maybe the ones you are mentioning weren't made to suit PS6 and that's why it's not working.

I thought that too, Carol, but all the ones I have are for CS6 and some I reloaded were for the cloud actually and still they didn't work. I googled the problem and the crop tool seems to be the culprit. What's strange is that it didn't do this until yesterday.... gremlins!
