  1. If you use eBay Change Your eBay Password Now!

eBay is asking all users to change their passwords because of a cyberattack. It says that the attack compromised passwords and other nonfinancial data.

More information on the eBay attack.

Oh shoot. And I knew no one would ever guess my password because it's so old that it only has 3 characters.

I had to just get the link to change mine, it is so rare that I use that account that I had forgotten the password!

Imagine the possibilities...and Happy, Happy, Happy!

Seriously? It's crazy what this world has come to. I haven't used ebay in years. So hopefully I'm's with my old email account which has been deleted, and an old credit card. Maybe I'll still try to change it just to be safe.

  18. Just got an email today from eBay suggesting changing the password. It said if you've already changed it on May 21st or after that we didn't need to change it again. Thanks to Randy, I am one who already changed mine.

    Thanks, again, Randy!

  19. I changed mine the first day that it was announced with ebay . . . the site was so busy that I couldn't do so for about six hours . . . glad I did it. I doubt that I will ever order anything from ebay again. I changed several other sites to new passwords too. Also, just phones several places where I have previously ordered items and deleted my account entirely and will just order by phone from now on. Some places say there is no way to remove all information after you have entered it in. Example is American Girl Doll company . . . I wanted to stay on their mailing list for catalogues but not order online anymore . . . all of my information could not be removed. Ugh! this is all such a pain in the neck, isn't it?
