Thread: Welcome to the Photoshop Artistry Forum

There is no direct way to download the videos, and DVDs are a possibility in the future ... but the BEST approach right now is to use an app for the iPad called "Road Show." It lets you store a bunch of videos ahead of time and then watch them when you are offline. This has the added advantage of allowing you to watch the training on the iPad while following along on your computer.

This has been a great resource for a lot of my students overseas with especially slow internet connections.

Patsy, good idea to share this link. It is a special offer from Sebastian. If you didn't sign up before, here is another chance for a discount! There is a ton of content packed into this course.

We will be offering the discount again in July too! So if it's not in the budget now... maybe this summer will be a better time!

Wow! This course is intense but fabulous! I'm like so many of my other DD pals and have to start at step 1 and progress methodically through and have finally gotten to Module 2, Section 1 and even then, I'm not even half way through. I almost feel like I've been living in a cave because I haven't wanted to come out and play at all (or do housework, or laundry, or pick the kids up from school) because I'm so "sucked into" this class. I can't wait to start creating pages using what I'm learning with Sebastian! I've dabbled with a few singular photos but no full pages yet. Will keep you posted

This is exactly how I feel, Wendy! Housework is suffering while I watch the videos!

The videos do suck you in, I had to step away from them and just scrap a few pages to get going-I think I am nearly ready to go back and watch again! But, talk about content-I backed up my files Sunday and in my Photoshop Artistry file I had over 4000 files!! I did buy one of the deals from, hmmm, can't remember, but still, the course comes with a ton of files!!

Glad to hear there will be another discount in July. Right now our dollar exchange sucks so it's a bit too pricey for me at the moment but I am dying to sign up for this so hopefully over the summer.

With some of the payment plans, I was able to get in on these courses. I am a member of Photoshop Artistry and Awake. I look at it as an investment in me. I learned something early on in the Awake class about prioritizing your art time. I would always try to take care of everything I needed to do, first, then, crank up Photoshop, open up the course pages and drift happily off to sleep, sitting in my chair! LOL It was always so late by the time I found time, I was too tired. Now, it is one of the first things I do in the mornings. I limit my time on socializing and try not to get too involved in some interesting post in my e-mail. Like many of you know, it is so easy to start with one e-mail and, you see a link and click on it. It mentions some cool website, so, you gotta go there. And, there will be a blog train or some other fun activity going on and, an hour later, you made it through one e-mail. LOL I am so bad about that!
But, Sebastian addresses that very issue. It only took me listening to that particular video and I was a changed woman! LOL
If you can possibly sign up, it will be worth it. And, it is all there for you forever. When something new gets added, you get an e-mail. He is still adding stuff. I even contributed some things! The sharing of resources between members is fabulous!
Just thought I would say "Hi" and jump in with my 2 cents.
    Thanks!
    Su

Hello, Su! Thanks for stopping by to say, hi! You make very valid points about taking time for creative ventures.

I, too, really enjoyed the Photoshop Artistry class. It's been over a year since I took it and I love being able to go back and review the videos to do more practice and check out the new materials that are constantly added or updated.
