I always see people have so many different "titles" or word art. Do they make it with their own chalkboard fonts ? Or is it simply word art ? cos it seems pretty personal wording ... like names etc

    Good question, Sam!

I think there is a mix of fonts people use. Some are designed to be chalkboard fonts.

I think the important thing on these chalkboard pages is to mix up the styles of fonts!

Wow Merilee, I am going to need another cup of coffee and a couple of hours to check out your Pintrest Board!! I get over there, and I lose a few hours of my day.....

So if you put a font on the chalkboard background it comes up looking like chalk?

I love all the chalkboard fonts and I think I need to make a folder or something so I can spot them easily. I love the look of them be have trouble mixing the right fonts to work together to my satisfaction. Haven't worked on one yet but imagine I'll be a chalkboard-lifter!! LOL!

Color it white, of course! Yes, I think it looks like writing on a chalkboard when you just color it white. On my Mac there are several chalk fonts that look even more like chalk.

You can also play around with textures in PSE and PS to get more of a chalk look.

I tend to use Katie's chalk alphabets because they really look like chalk.

I'm with you Sharon, I think I'd definitely have to do a lift, the mix of fonts looks overwhelming to me, but some make it look so easy!!

Hi guys Merilee and all...just woke up and realized I could still get in on the talk. I've tried a few chalk designs and haven't liked what I came up with. Maybe this will get me there...(I don't drink coffee but I'll share a symbolic cup with you all!)

  24. Oh, thanks, Cindy!

I'll try to do that one over! Linda used the same chalk alphabet that Kayleigh did for her title on that one.
