    The blend mode I used in my sample page is Vivid Light
    The effects are really determined by the colors in your photo and the paper you're blending to and for my page it gave the photo a certain "pop" that made Kelly's eyes pop and made it look more like a painting!

    My goto blend modes seem to be multiply and overlay.
