Comfort & Joy Chat with Pattie - 11/12/11 Sale Event

    Hello friends!

Welcome to the 11AM "Comfort & Joy" Chat with Pattie. I'm so pleased to have you here!

'Tis the season (almost!) When you hear the phrase "Tidings of Comfort & Joy" what thoughts come to your mind? Where do YOU find joy? Seek comfort?

Let's toss some ideas around together and then you have until NOON EST (60 minutes) to create a layout inspired by the theme "Comfort & Joy".

You must use at least one item from the freebie provided in your layout.

PLEASE USE ONLY CURRENT DD PRODUCTS ON YOUR PAGE TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THE DRAWING.

Please post your pages in our 4th Quarter 2011 Chat Event Gallery

and be sure to add "Comfort & Joy Chat" in the title so you are entered into the drawing for a $10 DD Gift Certificate!

At the end of the chat I'll use a random number generator to pick a winner for a $10 Designer Digitals gift certificate.

    Pattie

I'm pretty sure ALL of you have a particular food item that your thoughts turn to when you are feeling blue or simply want to experience pleasure .... let's toss a couple out and see how many we share!

For me ... homemade macaroni and cheese, vegetable soup or pot roast with lots of fattening gravy.

Laughing at myself here because I keep hitting "Enter" and waiting for my comment to appear. I guess you can take the girl out of the Chat Room but you can't take the Chat Room out of the girl!

Do any of you think of a person in relation to a "comfort" food or beverage? Many of our memories are tied together in this way. I'm a confirmed coffee drinker myself, but tea brings back memories of my mother-in-law ... who always made a pot when we settled down for a chat ... or my grandmother serving it with toast when I had an upset tummy.
