    Experience with printers

I like hybrid scrapbooking. I need a 12 x 12 printer, and I like the Espons, but I don't know if the Epson R1900 or the Epson2000 would be the best. The Epson R2000 will handle heavy cardstock, even posters. It has borderless 12 x 12 printing capabilities. It seems to be the perfert printer. Has anyone bought and used one? I know the colors are a little punchy, not as professional as the more expensive ones, such as the Epson R3000 and up, but I don't need a pro-level printer, since I am just an ametuer-semi-serious photographer.

I can't speak to the Epson R1900 and 2000, but my Epson R1800 does a nice job with 12x12 pages. I don't usually print them at home, but when I have, I've been happy with the results.

My software: Photoshop CC on a PC; Lightroom 5.2; ACDSee 17

  3. I have the R1900. It does a great job. It uses UltraChrome pigment ink, so the prints are gorgeous. I haven't looked at the 2000, so I can't comment on that one.

I have an R1900. I don't use it daily, but I am always pleased with the results when I crank it up to print out 12 x 12 page. I also love that it does oversize prints and even prints on a roll if you need to do a poster or something. I think colors are pretty darn good for a reasonably priced inkjet. I can't comment on the R2000. HOH!
