Thread: I'm back!

  1. #1

    I'm back!

Just finished my statistics exam - and I calculate the probability of passing to 95%.
(But I really am no A student in statistics, so I might have used the wrong probability density function. Or something. )

Anyway, now I'm sitting in my office chair, happily going through the stuff I bought at the Quarterly Sale,
thinking about all the glorious time I can now use on scrapbooking instead of statistics.

    Life is back on track!

lol Anxela! I wish you good luck in your exam (did you use a Poisson or geometric distribution to calculate the probability?!! )

Oh that is a GREAT feeling - coming from one who's taken more exams than I care to remember. ENJOY IT!! And congrats on passing - statistics huh? Impressive. I can barely add two and two, so I am definitely impressed.

And GO do some scrapping - missed your pages in the gallery!

Esther: I used the Poisson distribution - because that's what came up in my exam, in addition to Monte Carlo integration, the Central Limit Theorem and some other yummy and most interesting stuff.

Carol: This exam is so that I'll be able to teach math in addition to Spanish and information technology in the school that I work. I'm now 10 points away (which equals 1/6 of a year of studies. I will be taking that last course in fall.

Thank you all, for welcoming me back - I'm looking forward to spending more time here than I've been able to lately.
