    Good news re Bekah...so so welcome

    I know we may still have some valleys ahead but this is one of the good times and I cherish it. I know your prayers and caring were 'heard' and I continue to thank you.
    ~~~~~~~~~
    Bekah's clinic appointment went really well today.
    Bekah did great this week with Tuesday & Thursday off. Her GVHD & Adeno are still there but controlled. Her blood pressure has been a tiny bit high and we haven't been able to completely ween off the Hydralazine (IV Blood pressure med) yet. Dr. Graham says this is due to the steroids she is on.
    I have the best news yet.....We have an entire weekend off! I think I am still in shock. I kept saying..."Have a good weekend!" to all the nurses because I can say it for the first time. (I am smiling soooo much right now.) We are really crossing our fingers that she can go to Mond, Wed & Frid clinic days but will have to see how this week goes. I can't give up the Ronald McDonald Room quite yet, because we have heard this before and it didn't get to happen.* But on the other hand...her days off never went really well either!* Thank-you God! Did I say I was in disbelief??? In shock??? Thanking the Lord from the bottom of my heart for his gift to us???
    Thank-you to all of you also, who pray and continue to pray for Bekah's health to return.* Your support and prayers mean so much to us.* I know that many of you do not even know us, yet are there encouraging us.* * I am signing off tonight in a wonderful mood that we get two days home with hope and prayers for more!
