Paper Tearing With Pse 6.0

Can I use Anna's paper tearing templates with PSE 6.0. When I went into her site I couldn't find any information saying that it will work with PSE 6.0. I have purchased one before from a different site that said PSE 3.0, 4.0, & 5.0 but have been tested with 6.0 and I can't seem to get it to work properly.

You can absolutely use them. What trouble are you having?

Here are some common tricks with those tears:

1. Make sure your tear extends to both edges of the page. If necessary, enlarge it to about 102% to make sure.

2. Use the Magic Wand set to "Contiguous" to select the side of the tear you want to erase.

3. Target the paper layer once you have "marching ants" from step 2 and then hit the delete key.

4. Merge or link the tear & paper layers.

thanks for the info. I'm going to purchase one from this site and give it a try...does Anna's come with download instructions and instructions for how to use the paper tearing???

I believe it does, but you can just follow the steps I provided above.

I have PSE 6.0 and have some of Anna's paper edges. If these are what you are talking about Chunky Torn Paper Edges , they do work in PSE 6.0 and come with a tutorial too
