Default Merging Individual Brushes into 1 Set

Ok, I made two individual brushes and they are on their own lurking on my computer. (Don't ask, because I don't know how one got into the CS Brushes and the other is in PSE6 Brushes. Actually I think Brush Pilot is defaulting to CS, which is kind of ok since I'm not using it - yet.)

So how do I merge these two brushes into one set? keep them together? In the various instructions I have read on the web, it seems that you have to have a 'chosen' set to add a new brush to, and then you delete the original 'occupants' of that set to create your new 'real' set? This seems rather convoluted to me but hey...what do I know?

I'm talking 'bout PSEt on a MAC. tia! Maureen

1. Got to Edit> Preset Manager.
2. Select *Brushes* as your Preset Type.
3. Hold down the Ctrl key and select the brushes you wish to group in a set.
4. *Save Set*, navigate to location where you want your BrushSet to be saved, provide a name, and click *OK*

Anna, thank you for the instructions. I'm going to wait till tomorrow to try it as I've done worn myself out organizing those brushes. I decided I needed a shopping break instead!
So now I have some more digital stuff to organize but NOT brushes!

is there a way to have a bunch of brushes loaded (from different sets) and keep them loaded?

Yes. Make sure you click *append* instead of *replace*
