Help installing Katie's Drop Shadow Styles in PSE 7.0

I have Vista on my computer and am using PSE 7.0. Can anyone help me load these? Thanks!

Here you go:

1. close PSE
2. copy the .asl file and paste it here:

Start > Computer > Local Disk (C) > ProgramData > Adobe > Photoshop Elements > 7.0 > Photo Creations > layer styles

3. Open PSE. Access your style in the Effects Palette.
Click on the Layer styles icon and select "show all" from the drop-down menu.

Would the steps be the same to install with PSE 6 and Vista?? I have Katie's .asl file in with the other PSE .asl but they are not showing up in PSE so I think I did not do it the right way... Thanks!

I have PSE 6 (Vista) and bought Katies drop shadows too. I have tried a few different things and I still can't seem to get my PSE program to pick it up. If anyone has any other ideas I could try, I would be appreciative. Thanks!

For PSE6 on Vista, the path is:

C: > Program Data > All Users > Application Data > Adobe > Photoshop Elements > 6.0 > Locale > en_us > Photo Creations > Layer Styles.

Note: If the "Application Data" folder appears to be grayed out and not accessible, double click on it anyway, and it will open.

Your styles will be installed the next time you opened Photoshop Elements 6.0. They will be mixed in with all the other layer styles in the "Show All" category of Layer Styles. They will not be in a category by themselves.

To get them to show up in their own category, you have to jump through a few hoops and create an .xml document for the styles.
