Unhappy Help: My PNG images are hidden behind the preview logo

I recently had a system meltdown and have restored from my external hard drive. It took many attempts to get Bridge CS3 to open, and now that it is open, many of my PNG files are hidden behind the preview logo, and the only way I can see the image is to click on it so that it opens in Photoshop? I have cleared the cache and reset my preferences twice.

Any ideas?

I'm sorry I don't have any ideas. Bridge is a complete mystery, but I did want you to know someone saw your post. Hopefully, someone far savvier than I will post soon!

Godspeed ...

I have no idea either as I don't currently utilize Bridge, but here is a bump to help you on your way. Good luck!

Hi "lovesdesign1" it sound like corrupted files... try first in the Bridge go Tolls-Cashe-Purge cache for that folder see if that helps... and next time when you (or anybody for that matter) ask questions it would be nice to know at least if you on Mac or Windows and what version...
Also here is link to many answers for trouble with the Bridge CS3 and CS4...
