Actions in CS 4 vs. PSE question

Hi, I've just upgraded from PSE to CS4. Wow, there is a huge learning curve!!!!!! In PSE the actions seemed to really slow down mPSE overall. I haven't loaded all my actions/styles into CS4 yet (glitter, shadows,etc) and I'm not sure if I should in case it will slow it down. Any words of wisdom for a CS newbie?

Not sure on whether it slows things down or not to have a lot loaded but personally, I just have a folder set up with all of mine and then just load the ones I want at the time. I have some basic ones that I use all the time and keep those loaded but special ones, I just load and delete when I need them.
