In the course of creating my heritage scrapbook, there are a number of layouts that have irregular, worn, distressed edges for some of the papers and/or mattes. A good example, by phfphd Beauty of the heart is ageless. - Digital Scrapbooking Ideas - DesignerDigitals Does anyone have a good idea about creating a layout similar to this with so many different papers that all have different edges? It really is a beautiful layout.

Patricia used Lynn's worn page and worn photo edges products. you can clip the papers or photos you want to onto them and get that lovely distressed look. they're really wonderful. I know that Anna also has a bunch of torn edge tools, as well as some torn papers templates available in the store, that also work as clipping masks for your preferred paper and/or photos.

I know how to use clipping masks, and have all of the worn paper edges (love them) for pages and photos. I just didn't work through trying enough of them, I guess. They certainly are versatile. I work a lot and don't have the time that I would like to devote to digital scrapbooking and photography. There is just so much to learn, and I hope to one maybe retiring and just rocking in my rocking chair, shooting with a semi-pro SLR camera, and scrapping. That's my idea of a good time. It just couldn't get any better than that!!!:
