Making a work path

Hi! I attended most of the last series of chats and learned something that had been driving me crazy before the chat. I used it a couple of times and now I can't for the life of me find the option to make a shape into a work path. I use PSCS3.

I love to do the shaped journaling etc so this is really driving me bonkers!

make a selection
select your pen tool
view > paths [to bring up the paths palette]
from the drop-down menu off the path palette,
select make work path
