Default How do I change color of Ali Edwards script text?

I am a total newbie here and I am trying to put the names of the days of the week on my 365 pictures. I think I have finally figured out how to layer the script text on the top corner of my picture. Now, how do I change the text color from black to white if the picture is dark? I know this is so elementary, but so am I!!! I would appreciate help!!! Thank you!

Here's a quick way to turn a black item to white:
Select the title layer.
Press Ctrl + U on your keyboard (Mac: Cmd + U).
Move the Lightness slider all the way to the right.

If it's text that you have typed with the Type Tool, you have two options:

1. Highlight the Text. In the Options bar above the editing window, click on the Color box and change the color to white.
2. Or you can rasterize it before changing the color:
Select Layer > Rasterize > Type then follow the lightness slider instructions above.

Welcome to DD! It's great to have you here with us!

If it's just a matter of black or white, you can also just target the layer and type Cmd/Ctrl-I to invert it. Very quick and easy.

Wait a second . . . . those are brushes, right? LOL

Load the brushes and then just choose white as your foreground.

Coooll! Thank you for this information. I think that's the question that I were going to pose soon. Is it possible to see an example to know if we speak about the same thing?

Is that ? --> http://blog.designerdigitals.com/ima...s_01062009.jpg --> With the word "wonderfull"

Thanks for your help.

The picture Sylvie links shows red text with white outlining. I think its a brush.

To get any color, change the color on the foreground to what you want, then stamp. OR command + select the layer at the same time. Then, go to fill and select a color.

To get the outline, do command + select the layer at the same time. Then go to edit - stroke. Select the color and size you want for the outline. Click OK.
