Default Another Photo Fix, Please.

First off, I know the topic may not be for the faint of heart. My husband and son are renaissance men - they hunt and fish. This was a recent hunt in Hawaii of all places and my dh didn't take his camera. Shame on him. Anyway, the guide took it. I have no idea what he used, but it's very washed out. I tried adjusting the levels and that helped but not with the shadowing or my dh's face. I only have PSE so any help would be greatly appreciated. I noticed some comments about Noiseware. Not familiar with it but would it work here? Thanks so much.

Wendy

I played around with the photo a bit by duplicating the layer, changing the top layer to multiply and adjusting down the opacity to about 65%, then I used the burn took to burn back in some of the detail, then I messed with the contrast a little. I don't know if there's much you can do about the shadows caused by the hat on your DH. I hope that helps a little. I'm sure others are going to have a lot better advice than I do, but I wanted to see if I could help.

I was going to suggest what Jodi did, until I went back and re-read he post. LOL. Maybe it's too late and I should go to bed. :=_
