Default Deleted vacation photos, please HELP!

Hi ladies, I have been MIA lately as I am still on hollidays here in Newfoundland Canada visting family....I carry two cameras, one for fun on the whim photos, and one for more photography type stuff....I was ansty so see the pics on mySLR camera, so I viewed them on my aunts computer (not downloaded) and while the camera was still plugged in I deleted them, thinking I was deleting them off someone else computer!! So now the deliema is that I have the card, but am hoping I can still retrieve the pics on there, even thought they have been deleted?! I have not used the card since. Am I able to do this, I am hoping there is an "undo" button I am so used to while scraping....I am so upset, and have already shed tears over the situation, as I am going home, and the pics on that card are very dear family moments and touristy type stuff....
Anyway, I am SOOO hoping someone feels my pain and can help me in my dire situation (and help me scrapbook more ) If anyone has ANY helpful advice, please let me know before I go mental...
Thanks Nichole, Amikasmom....

Sometimes the card has a piece of "recovery" software associated with it. Check the website of the manufacturer. I have never had to do this, but I know some of the girls here have. I'm sure one will be a long soon to share their knowledge.

I've had success using Data Rescue in very similar circumstances. I think you can run the trial version and it will tell you if it can find them before you pay the $29. I hope that works for you!

If you have not taken any more pictures on it I think there is a very good chance of recovery with something like Jodi mentioned - good luck!!

My neighbor just used a freeware program to recover pix from his card. I'll ask him tomorrow morning for the name if you haven't already solved this by then!
