Tripod?

Can anyone recommend a lightweight folding tripod that would be easy to hike with? Have you ever used a monopod?

monpod is great but it is not going to be as steady as a tripod I am not sure as brands i use an old one was m dads it is titanium bulky and heavy hubby carries it lol It was a very nice expensive one for its time my dad was a photographer it is all i have left of his stuff and i feel like he is out with me when I use it so i can stand to part with it I was thinking of replacing the head with a ball head. Although the head on it is very good
