It's may first! Glad all of you flickr ladies made it through April! (even if we missed a few days here and there )

Here we come May! Good light, warmer weather (in some parts of the world) and lots of great opportunities for photos!

Hi Katrina! I am going to TRY to keep up with the "DD 30 days of photos" beginning this month.

I posted my May 1st photo at Flickr ... but, could not figure out how to get it into the DD group. Also, wanted to know if you only invite the DD posting group as people who can view your photos ... or do you allow the general public to view your photos?

I'm another one that is confused by flickr I've been taking a photo-a-day all year but have yet to post them.

Mollie, after you load your photo, click on it and at the top there are prompts for various things, one is send to group. Just click there and you're done. I assume you have signed up for the group...I think everyone leaves their photos for public view, it's exciting when an admin for another group notices your photo.

Pam, I'm not very savvy with this stuff, but it's really pretty easy. I think Katrina has some good instructions on another thread.

It is pretty easy as long as you look all the way round the screen at flickr... its not always straight forward always where everything is.
Moll- if you are signed up at flickr, click katrinas link up there to our group. then you can see - if you scroll- join this group? and you simply click that.
THEN back at your home page do as Deanie says and click your days photo to enlarge it, along the top are prompts and once you click on send to group it will slide down and show our groups name and you click on that!!!
did I just make it worse? LOL

There are some photos that I set as private. The DD 30 day group can view my private pics after I send the photo to the group. There are some photos that I don't want the world to have access to!

Warning about the DD Flickr Group: It's so addicting to look at all the wonderful, fun photos! I did a handful when it first started but fell off the wagon. After spending way too much time browsing through the gallery, I'm motivated to give it a try again.

Joey, thanks for that info about setting pics to private but then adding to the group. That was the issue I had with my grandson's picture. Wanted to share it with the DD group but private from the rest of the world. Now I can. Thanks.

I joined the group and can't wait to get started! However...I have 2 weeks before graduation so I can't join in till June. I don't even have time to clean the house, let alone take pictures of how dirty it is. I hope it's still going on then?

I just joined the DD group at Flicker, and as soon as my new camera comes (hopefully tomorrow!), I'll be posting.
Is the idea to post any picture every day, or a photo you actually shot that day?

Glad you are joining! The idea is to post a photo you take the idea to get into practice of shooting every day

We'll still be going then! Summer will be easier for me to shoot every day too! Glad you'll be joining us!
