Default Flickr 30DD Photo of the Week

Wow! What a group of talented ladies! Picking just one photo for the week was tough...but I kept coming to Babyroo's photos...I could post a bunch! This one had to be it for me though! Fun composition, great black and white, perfect moment captured! I could see this on a layout

Congratulations babyroo7!

A few questions so we can all strive to copy your style

1. What camera do you use?

2. What first drew you to photography?

3. What type of photos do you enjoy taking most?

4. What one tip has helped you improve your photography most?

5. What is on your photography wishlist?

Thanks!

Wow, Katrina, you totally made my day! Thanks so much! I am loving this 30 day challenge! I am using this challenge to make myself sit down and learn a little bit each night. There are some awesome pictures being posted by some talented ladies!

Katrina, your questions took me a bit to answer!

1. What camera do you use? Nikon D50...I have been trying to keep it off auto! When I see I shot I HAVE to have, I turn it to auto right quick...I am not comfortable or knowledgeable enough yet & auto feels safe!

2. What first drew you to photography? Honestly, I wasn't into photography until I got my SLR 1.5 years ago. I found that I missed so many great shots with a point-and-shot digital. I was amazed at how much better my pictures turned out with a SLR. (Thanks Aunt Kathie - kathie02- for encouraging me to get the D50)

3. What type of photos do you enjoy taking most? I enjoy taking candid pictures. Of course I have plenty of posed smiling pics, but my favorite are "in-the-moment" shots. I love to take pics of kids as they can be so animated.

4. What one tip has helped you improve your photography most? One thing that has helped my photography is learning as much as possible! I enjoy studying other photographers' angles, colors, photoshop techniques, etc. I have followed Lauren Clark's photography for a year now. She rocks! I also LOVE to read anything written by Scott Kelby. He is my hero! I have a TON to learn as I really don't know much about exposure & how to work my camera!

5. What is on your photography wishlist? Oh boy! My list is loooooong and expensive! (I NEED a new couch, but photo equipment comes first!) I would love to have Photoshop, Boutwell Actions, a macro lens, some basic studio lighting.... the list goes on!

Thanks again for picking my photo! I am honored! I am planning on using that photo for a LO too!

Thanks!

Congratulations, Joey. Photography talent runs in your family, doesn't it? I'm so glad your auntie Kathie02 helped you find Designer Digitals.
