Default RAW software

I just attempted my first family shoot with some people from out of town. I shot in RAW incase I messed up with shutterspeed and f/stop. Can someone help me with how I can open the photos in PSE6 and make adjustments? I also know there is suppose to be a way to combine photos in PSE6. Can someone help me with this also? Or send me in a direction on a web site or a book.
TIA for your help

I am not sure about PSE6 but I know you can do it in CS2 and CS3 with Adobe Camera Raw. Also I know you can do it in Adobe Lightroom (which is a separate program that runs outside of Photoshop) There is a trial version to see if you like it here
Hope that helps

My PSE4 had a limited version of Adobe Camera Raw. All you had to do was tell your computer to open the raw file with PSE and it automatically brings up the Camera Raw portion.

I use iPhoto and PSE 6.0 to edit my raw photos. I have PSE set as my editing software in iPhoto, so after uploading to iPhoto, they are automatically exported to PSE when I click 'Edit.' I hope this is pulling the RAW version over??

To use the group photo merge, I click on the Guided tab and there is a spot there to start the merge. It gives pretty good explanations of how to do it.
