Default Trouble getting Noiseware to work

I just downloaded Noiseware Pro on my computer (Windows). I see that it's on my C drive in the Adobe folder>Photoshop Elements 6.0>Plug-ins.

I thought that all I needed to do to run it was to open PSE, open an image and go to Filters. However nothing is showing up. Anyone have any ideas?

BTW, I've e-mailed Noiseware support but have yet to hear back anything. I thought the response time might be faster here!

When you have a file open and go to the Filter menu, do you see "Imagenomic" at the bottom of the list? Mine is there in a flyout menu of that choice.

No. I believe it's supposed to show up under the Digimarc filter (at least in my program), but nothing's there.

I'm using PSE 4.0 and mine shows up as Imagenomic too.

Just to confirm, you did get the plugin not the standalone, correct? Mine also shows up under Imagenomic at the bottom.

Hope you get it sorted out as it is woooonnndddeeerrful!

I was just thinking the same thing. If you bought the standalone, then it doesn't work like a filter in PSE. You have to open your photos in that software to run the filter.

Actually I should back up. I bought the program (the pro plug-in version). However, to get started you have to download and install the free trial version. I can't get past this first step! Still haven't heard from the Noiseware people. Thanks ladies.

I am in PSE 6.0 and I just downloaded and installed the free plug-in version and it shows up as Imagenomic at the bottom of the filters menu (of course my pics have a grid over them until I purchase the full version! - will have to do that soon!)

Hope you can get it to work for you! Did you put it into the right folder when you installed it? It asked me for my plug-in folder and I had to go looking for it.

Once I downloaded the trial version it showed up as Imagenomic at the bottom of the filter menu. When I wanted to buy it, you just clicked on buy and they sent a code to my e-mail to activate it.

I now have it up and working. I was worried at first because Photoshop Elements 6 is not yet fully supported by Noiseware (but they believe it should work).

I did have it downloaded in the right file (Program files>Adobe>Photoshop Elements 6.0>Plug-Ins>Imagenomic). It wasn't showing up under "filters". To get it to show up I had to do the following (these directions were per the Noiseware tech support):

Go to Edit/Preferences/Plug-ins, check the "Additional Plugins Folder" box and
point to "Plug-ins" folder within "Program Files/Adobe/Photoshop
> Elements 6". Restart Photoshop and try again.

I just used it on a photo that I used a really high ISO on and it worked like a charm! Thanks everyone for trying to help.
