Sorry - another lightroom question

I've just downloaded the trial version and wow.. so much to see I'm overwhelmed and don't know where to start. I see you all say there are presets that you can fix with one click. Are they already on there or do you have to upload them from some where else?

Check out this link. They provide links to a variety of sites w/free presets. I most often use the Jack Davis "WOW" presets, the Kelsey Smith ones, and the L7photo presets.

To use the presets, you need to be in the Develop module (it's at the top of the screen on the right, or you can just type "D").

You should consider subscribing to Matt Kloskowski's Lightroom Killer Tips blog. He provides great info on the software and weekly presets.

another Q.. after downloading the presets..how do i get them in lightroom?

In the navigator pane scroll down to User Presets. Right click on User Presets and select Import.

i tried it and the only import that comes up is under snapshots..maybe it's because I have a Mac? I've only had this comp a few weeks... so can someone be specific with me on how to use the presets? thanks!
