Default Leather Wedding Book

My sister is getting married and wants a leather bound (embossed preferably) wedding book for her pictures
not an album with sleeves, but a book - like shutterfly where the pages can be uploaded, etc... the problem is she wants it 8x8 or 10x10 but solid leather (whereas shutterfly has the photo opening). I really want to do this for her but am at a loss as to where to look for a professionally bound leather photo book!
Any photographers provide this kind of book for your wedding clients?

If you use a Mac, you can get photo books printed directly from iPhoto, but I've never actually used it before so can't say exactly what they offer. Maybe some of the other Mac users around here have?

www.Leathercraftsmen.com does beautiful work that sounds like exactly what you are looking for. You do need to have a tax id number for your photography business to use them

Also check albumsinc.com. Not sure if they have exactly what you're looking for, but they have a lot of different styles, so they might.

These are nice - I'm tempted to order one for myself to see what they're like.

Kim, does Asuka allow you to add text to your pages - I am not a photographer - just trying to help my sister get what she wants and it appears that you have to register an account as a photographer. My sister would like a few written things -special scriptures, names, date, etc.....added to a few pages - it almost seems as i need to upload pages rather than photos - ugh! but still have it bound in leather 10x10 (ish)

I use asuka for my wedding albums and their quality is amazing but they do only allow official business photographers to register ( they check you out)

Dunno if the leather ones are like good old leather books... think they are more like a diary though.

Your're right, with asuka, you would need to upload finished 2 page spreads designed on their templates.

long story to get this to work, my oldest sister i moving from hobby photographer to doing it for a business - she has already photographed one wedding and she will be photograhing one of my other sisters weddings in may - SO - she is ordering from KISS using pics from her first wedding - that way she can see what she likes about it- before she moves on to my other sisters wedding -
anyway - I will let you know what she thinks of KISS once she gets the book.........

I can't wait to hear about it! Have her photograph the book too - I would love to see an example of a finished product.
