Default Canvas?

Anyone have a canvas printed? Any company you recommend? I'm looking at Pixel2Canvas.

I've been itching to get one... and I think I have 2 potentials to do one with. Which one would you choose? Or are neither canvas worthy?

Kim these are beautiful. I personally like the bottom photo better. I think because of your oldest's step in it. I've said it before, and I'll say it again. I am envious of your big beautiful family. I'm one of six and I miss the big, busy house!

I've never had a canvas printed, so I can't be much help. I know WHCC does them, but I've never seen one in person. Good luck - and these are TOTALLY canvas-worthy!

oh my gosh so cute! I love the bottom one!
I've had canvases done at Kinkos and been very happy with the results
HTH!

The second one is amazing!! I would certainly think it would be an excellent candidate for a canvas! I've heard great things about Pixels2Canvas, but I've never used them myself.

Beautiful! I'd pick the bottom one (also because of how everyone is stepping). I've never printed on canvas but these photos are definitely worthy!!

I love the second one too! Perfect for canvas! I had a client order two gallery wraps this week. I use WHCC and will let you know how they turn out. I'm probably going to order one of the girls on canvas soon.

well I am not going to be original, but number 2 is better -- the spacing shows your family better.

I have had canvas's printed for clients and they are amazing... bt the places here are a LITTLE too far to go... however I am sure you will love the completed job...

I love the bottom one too. I'm no help with the canvas question but definately think these are "worthy"

I prefer the top image mainly because I like the colors of the sky and because the horizon looks straight across, but I like the closeness of the family in the second image. Maybe in the second image if you burn the sky using PS to bring out the blue and use the gridlines to staighten the horizon that should help.

I've used simply canvas for my canvas prints and have been happy with them.

I hope this helps!
Lynne

ETA: I forgot to mention that either photo would be great for a canvas, especially because the wrap around would be the beach and sea.

Oh, I agree about the sky - maybe you could clone it from the first picture? They're both wonderful!

Thanks everyone!! My thoughts were the same as everyone... 2nd one is the best of the group.. but I think in my "color popping" I blew out the sky, so preferred the sky and water in the first. I'm going to try and re-work and using masking layers to bring back the blue of the sky and water if I can!

Your own kids are really the hardest to photograph, aren't they?! (please tell me it's not just me) I have some more on my blog, other than their backs, but there's always *something* off trying to get six of them together!

Okay.. can you stand more?
I actually blew out the sky in the original for the 2nd since I exposed for the kids. I had another shot where I exposed for the sky and so tried combining the two. Is it too much? I also tried to straighten the horizon.

My client's 20x24 (around $120 my cost) gallery wraps came today and they are awesome! They are ready to hang with the hangers and bumpers already in place. And I just ordered them last week so the turnaround was speedy! WHCC ROCKS!! I'm going to order a photo of the girls in a huge gallery wrap for our bedroom. I can't wait!

WOW! YES...I definitely think it works! In fact, would you mind cloning a couple more kids and send me the picture so I can use for my wall? I have eight children total. LOL!

You won't be disappointed with pixel2canvas. I did a 16x20 a picture of my DH and DS. They fixed a little problem I had with cloning AND Roxanne the owner called me personally to tell me about the process! And...you get a rubber duck!

This is fun to see. I usually don't check this photography forum, but I'm going to from now on to see stuff like this. Beautiful job with the photo, Kim. You are really good at photo editing.
