I just got a Canon 60D for Christmas and starting shooting my first RAW pictures over the weekend. I Imported them from my camera card to my computer using Lightroom 3. My problem is that the only place I can view these files is actually in Lightroom. I can take them over to Photoshop Elements 8 to edit but I can't just Open File in Elements and see them in the file to choose one to work on for digiscrapping purposes. They just show up as icons with no image!
I think I'm missing something big about the way you work with RAW files maybe? Is is all about editing them and then saving them in JPEG format? What if I didn't have Lightroom? Any and all suggestions greatly appreciated!
