Default "My Publisher" Review

I'm posting this is the Photography category because it is about a photo book versus a scrapbook. I had a lot of photos from a recent fall trip to the mountains and wanted to print them in a book. I also had a Groupon expiring soon from My Publisher. I decided to go with just photos versus making scrapbook pages since I had never used this company. The My Publisher program is VERY easy to use and manipulate. I had no problems from loading the photos, to dragging them onto the pages, to finding the templates based on the # of photos I wanted on each page, to dragging a photo from the left page partially onto the right page, from loading a panoramic photo to spread across both pages, etc. The dust cover was very easy to design and the inside flaps also contained areas for photos and journaling. So after designing the book in one evening, I was very eager to get it in the mail. And it arrived quickly ... within 8 days of ordering.

When that book arrived this week, I was completely impressed. The dust cover is fabulous, book comes with a vellum page at the beginning and end, the colors are spot on, and the photos that I spread across two pages are
wonderful.

I've included some photos ... front/back/spine dust cover, front and back inside flaps, and a couple of inside pages (one showing a two page spread).

So, if you looking to do just a photo book, I highly recommend My Publisher. My next test with My Publisher will be to create 8.5 x 11 pages and load as full page spreads and see how that works.

Gail, thanks so much for sharing this. I know I could get a bunch of trips done if I didn't decide to scrap them and just did photo books. That would make Dick happy!

I liked the little free book I got from them back when they just started advertising. I gave that book (all photos of our cat) away to our former pet sitter so I can't compare now. but your book shows it all.

Your pages are gorgeous!

My Publisher used to do the photobooks for Costco, I don't know if they still do. But for the same price at Costco, there are 30 pages instead of 20. It takes about 5-7 days to receive the books and they are beautiful.
