Fantastic, good for you. One of the best pieces of knowledge I guess I got when I first got my DSLR is that I might go backwards for a bit (and think what the heck did I buy this darn thing for) before I go forwards. Fear not, you'll love it.

I still have a ton to learn after several years, but it is now hands down my favorite over my backup P&S (and I have the old 300d). Just be patient with learning and enjoy learning how to use it. While your waiting for the class try Brian Petersons book on understanding exposure, reading it was a big turning point for me. |
