Default Any fun ideas for snow pictures?

Well were getting a Nor'easter today.. blizzard warning in effect.. luckily the stores opened early today so I was at Kohl's at 5:30 am getting my son a pair of boots (since his size 11 feet no longer would fit into last years size 8 boots) and then a stop at the supermarket for bread and milk.. so now I'm safely bundled up at home thinking it would be fun to get some photos.. Does anyone have any 'fun' techniques for shooting snowfall? I've seen pictures where you can actually see it falling? Imagine it's a slow shutter speed. Any other ideas for fun photos?

Mel, I think, did some really fun macro/bokeh snow shots down at "eye level" with the snow. She had the pictures on her blog, I don't know if they're here in the gallery or not. You may want to check those out.

Donna, haven't seen any "snowfall" photos, but Kathieo2 has some wonderful ideas for using the snow as a fabulous background! Also, look at some of Angela McMillan's portraits of her children and the snow. Great ideas there as well!!

And I think it was Kelly (mugsbigsis) who captured those wonderful shots of individual snowflakes -- AMAZING!
