Default Studio Lighting

I currently use an Alien Bee 800 with an umbrella. I am wanting to have a 100% white background without the use of photoshop and I am wanting some advice on additional lighting for the backdrop. Can I get by with just one more Alien Bee 800? Anybody use this setup?

Yes, with the additional studio light against a white background you will get the white that you are looking for. Lit white will be white, partial lit white will be grey, and no light it will be black. I use Elinchrom lights myself

I have two alien 800 and if they are close enough to the back drop you should be able to get a decent white. I still tweak mine in LR.

I have just ordered 2 Westcott TD5 spiderlites. I am so excited for them to turn up.
